Last week, SNCC had the pleasure of hosting the ASEAN Business Reception in the historic setting of Euronext Oslo Børs. This annual tradition brings together SNCC members with business ties and interests in the ASEAN region, the ASEAN Ambassadors to Norway, Norway’s Ambassadors to the ASEAN countries, and representatives from key government institutions.

We were honored to welcome State Secretary Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik from Utenriksdepartementet as guest of honor this evening, delivering the opening remarks. Erlend Prytz, CEO of Norwegian Maritime Exporters NME and SNCC’s new Chairman, gave the welcome address on behalf of our Chamber. We are also grateful to H.E. Ms. Nitivadee Manitkul, Ambassador of Thailand to Norway, for her inspiring words and perspectives.

The conversations throughout the reception underlined the strength and potential of the ASEAN–Norway partnership. ASEAN’s dynamic growth, combined with Norway’s commitment to trade and international cooperation, points towards exciting opportunities for collaboration.
