Open for business: A gateway to Southeast Asia’s green revolution

Last week, we hosted an exciting matchmaking session together with the Philippine Embassy in Oslo and Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), signaling a clear message: Southeast Asia is open for Norwegian business. The host from the Philippines, along with colleagues from Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand, showcased their commitment to achieving net-zero goals by 2050 and expressed keen interest in Norwegian Renewables Energy technology.

An impressive lineup of companies, most of which are partners with the Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), presented cutting-edge technological solutions in various sectors including solar, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture and storage (CCS), hydro power and offshore wind. Many are already established in the region, but this session opened doors to new contacts and uncovered fresh opportunities.
It was a highly successful morning session in our ongoing effort to connect Norwegian and Southeast Asia business.
