Strategies are emerging to drive new product design, process design, and new business models towards increasing circularity. Digital transformation is expected to accelerate this transition. Whether you’re in manufacturing, energy, finance or logistics, circular economy strategies help businesses limit their environmental footprint, reduce resource dependency, navigate tighter regulations, and respond to growing investor and customer expectations. Beyond sustainability, circularity is a driver of cost efficiency, resilience, and long-term value creation.
Creating a circular economy necessitates a fundamental shift in policy-making, business practices, and consumer behaviors. It requires businesses to consider the total impact across the value chain and adopt fit-for-purpose systems and technologies to facilitate this transformation.
However, circularity cannot be viewed in isolation. When businesses implement circularity into their operating and commercial models, they must ensure it truly delivers positive impact and that it is socially responsible – this is not always a given. There is a need to take a holistic view: managing risks effectively, substantiating the claims that are made, and building trust through credibility and transparency.
This session will explore how we can drive real, lasting progress in the transition to a more sustainable economy.
Registration: reserve your spot by sending an email to secretariat@sncc.no. Please note that seats are limited.
