We had the privilege of hosting the “Singapore – Norway: An Ocean of Opportunities” event on Wednesday, June 7th, as part of Nor-Shipping.
Chair Erik Borgen kicked off the event with opening remarks, before moving on to one of the highlights for the day: Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Norway and Singapore. The MoU was signed by Norway’s Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy Mr Bjørnar Skjæran, and Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport Mr Chee Hong Tat. This agreement solidified the commitment to work together, strengthening bilateral relations and creating a solid foundation for future collaborations.
Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria moderated the industry leaders throughout the topics of innovation, decarbonisation and how to attract the talents of
tomorrow.
Innovation was a central theme throughout the event. Leaders from both countries showcased initiatives and technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the maritime industry.
