We at SNCC are thankful for the engagement and enthusiasm at our seminar held at Høyres Hus Konferanse & Selskapslokaler on 29th November on how Norway’s export and international business will have to grow in the future beyond the oil and gas era.

A great thank you goes out to our speakers and attendees who made this evening into an educational and memorable experience!

The seminar was anchored by Erik W Jakobsen, Partner and Chair of the board at Menon Economics, whose presentation on the key findings of the 2023 Export Report laid a foundational understanding of Norway’s role in a globally competitive landscape.

The panel then discussed if Norway’s clear governmental objectives resonates with the strategic realities of the business sector. Professor Emeritus at Handelshøyskolen BI, Torger Reve’s clear and impactful insights added depth to our understanding, sparking lively debates and an intriguing dialogue with the audience.

In the panel we were also privileged to host industry pioneers like DNV, a globally recognized leader in assurance and risk management, as well as the energy company Pixii AS. Pixii AS, recently acclaimed by Deloitte as Norway’s fastest-growing technology company in 2023, provided compelling insights as a company at the forefront of the green transition.
